SuperCom Expands Its Smart Card Credit Control Business: Wins Follow-on Order From a Major Financial Consortium in Hong Kong

innovative identification solutions and active RF tracking solutions, today announced that it has received a follow-on order from a major financial consortium in Hong Kong to provide smart cards for its credit control system.

SuperCom's credit control software application system, which enables the performing of credit checks on borrowers, represents the first application the company has developed for financial institutions.

Since early 2004 SuperCom has provided a major Hong Kong financial consortium with few hundreds of thousands of smart cards.

In addition to the supply of smart cards, SuperCom is the prime contractor for the design, installation, maintenance and enhancement of the credit control system, which includes more than 200 customized card readers in approximately 50 branches.
