Strategic Airlines Signs Maintenance Services and Engine Management Agreements with Pratt & Whitney


FARNBOROUGH, England, July 21 - FARNBOROUGH AIR SHOW -- Strategic Airlines signed exclusive five-year maintenance services and expanded engine management Program agreements with Pratt & Whitney. Through these agreements, Pratt & Whitney Global Service Partners will provide on- and off-wing engine management and maintenance services for the airline's fleet of CFM56-5A and PW4168 engines. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

Strategic Airlines, headquartered in Brisbane, is Australia's newest international carrier, currently operating regular passenger transport services between Perth and Bali, as well as services between Perth and Derby in Western Australia, with each service operating three times weekly. In August, Strategic Airlines will also commence regular passenger transport services direct to Port Hedland in Western Australia, from both Brisbane and Melbourne.
