STAR Process Heat Systems LLC Announces a New Plastic Welding Certification Facility in New Jersey

Farmingdale, New Jersey - June 1st, 2008 - A new plastic welding training center offers the novice and experienced plastic fabricator education, hands-on training and certification in plastic welding and portable extrusion welding in accordance to TWI specification.
STAR Process Heat Systems LLC and RRE Inc-The Plastic Welding School recognize the need to offer a formal training program and facility on how to weld plastics. As plastic welding guidelines do not exist in the USA or Canada, the program is based on proven European CEN [Committee for Standardization] and DVS [German Welding Society] plastic welding standards. The AWS [American Welding Society] recognizes the need for plastic welding standards and has recently formed a standards committee who has begun looking into the European standards.
In 2003 RRE Inc-The Plastic Welding School signed a licensing agreement with TWI LTD [The Welding Institute] in Cambridge United Kingdom, to offer the plastic welding training courses and CSWIP [Certification Scheme for Welding and Inspection Personnel] examinations in the USA and Canada. Administered by TWI Examinations LTD, the CSWIP program includes classroom curriculum, practical welding and testing according to the CEN standards for hot gas, extrusion, socket fusion, electro-fusion and wedge welding techniques.

The new training facility for RRE Inc-The Plastic Welding School is conveniently located at STAR Process Heat Systems LLC in Farmingdale New Jersey. Classroom and on-hands training are climate controlled and comfortable. The class schedule is the third week of each month; the next class is scheduled for June 23-27th 2008.
