The Spencer Turbine Company will exhibit its Digester Gas Booster "Duplex" Skid Package and other energy-efficient and green products at the upcoming Water Environment Federation Conference and Exhibition (WEFTEC). The conference, which runs October 18 through 22 at McCormick Place - North, in Chicago, is organized by the Water Environment Federation (WEF), a not-for-profit technical and educational organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the global water environment. Its members include individuals, affiliated member associations and other professionals worldwide.
Each year WEFTEC is attended by domestic and international engineers, scientists, managers and government officials responsible for municipal and industrial wastewater collection and treatment systems, drinking-water treatment, groundwater protection and remediation programs.

Located in Hall C, Booth No. 14071, at McCormick Place - North, Spencer product managers and engineering experts will show and discuss the Digester Gas Booster "Duplex" Skid Package. The company's custom engineered and fabricated systems are designed for handling digester gas and raising its pressure to desired levels at wastewater treatment facilities that utilize waste as an energy source. The skid package on display includes two hermetically sealed gas boosters with stainless steel casings, anodized aluminum impellers, valves, piping and controls all mounted on a common prepiped and prewired compact skid.
Spencer will also feature its Power Mizer® multistage cast centrifugal blower. This product's uniquely designed aerodynamic components provide energy-efficient airflow from blower inlet to discharge. Power Mizer blowers-part of Spencer's high-efficiency aeration systems-can help reduce operating costs when coupled with variable frequency drives, DO control logic, operator interface, modem communication software and blower protection devices.
