SOUTH-TEC Advanced Productivity Exposition Comes to Charlotte Convention Center

BREAKING NEWS...SOUTH-TEC exhibit space is near capacity and more than 200 industry-leading exhibitors will occupy nearly 35,000 square feet. Of these exhibitors, more than 75 will showcase and demonstrate new products. This is encouraging news especially after a recent report from touted manufacturing as a linchpin to "lead the way in North Carolina's recovery." WHO: Nearly 200 exhibitors representing more than 340 companies and 4,000 manufacturers from North Carolina and around the Southeast Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and advisory partners AmCon (American Contract Manufacturers Show), the North Carolina Motorsports Association and UNC Charlotte's Motorsports Engineering Program helped shape the content of this long-standing event. To help Southern manufacturers move out of survival mode and into the post-recession mode, SME's SOUTH-TEC Advanced Productivity Exposition showcases cutting-edge equipment in action and offers opportunities for manufacturers to discover progressive business strategies. For more than 30 years, SOUTH-TEC has been connecting buyers and sellers with the latest technologies that drive manufacturing. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore nearly 200 exhibits and evaluate what's new in manufacturing and productivity on the show floor. Over the course of three days, SOUTH-TEC will be focused around three themes, including "Lean Tools for Success," "Motorsports in Manufacturing" and "New Products and Innovations."
