Sonneborn Announces Roman Myrna as Vice President of Manufacturing
Parsippany, NJ – December 14, 2016 Sonneborn LLC, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of high quality white oils and specialty hydrocarbons, announces the appointment of Roman Myrna as Vice President of Manufacturing. Roman will report directly to Jon A. Giberson, Vice President & General Manager - Americas.

Roman is a proven manufacturing leader with over 25 years of experience in the specialty chemical industry overseeing complex chemical facilities for a variety of technologies. He has a safety first mentality and has strong experience with OSHA Process Safety Management regulated facilities.

Roman Myrna started his career as a Project Engineer at Hoechst Celanese and progressed into plant management, most recently as Site Manager for Arkema’s Memphis, Tennessee site where they produce Hydrogen Peroxide. Previously, he was a Sit e Manager for Huntman’s Chicago Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) site. Before this, he was an Operations Manager for Cytec, and a Focus Factory Manager for Covidien. Mr. Myrna holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from California State University and is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
