SolarBridge Debuts Frame-Attached Microinverter Solution at Intersolar North America

SAN FRANCISCO, -- Intersolar North America -- SolarBridge Technologies (SolarBridge), the leading developer of module-integrated microinverters for the solar industry, announces the frame-attached version of its Pantheon(TM) microinverter.

SolarBridge's module manufacturer partners will attach the Pantheon microinverter to the corner of the PV module frame in their factories. This solution provides the lowest field installation cost, as there are no inverters and AC bus cables to install, no DC cables to manage, and no separate ground wires to run.

SolarBridge Pantheon microinverter's simple "one click" AC cabling scheme makes for an incredibly fast and easy installation process for installers. While the initial Pantheon microinverter is frame-attached, a future version will feature an integral design that completely eliminates the junction box and all DC wiring on the back of the module.

"SolarBridge is leading the charge for an open industry standard in AC modules, and our products will always be consistent with this standard," said Ron Van Dell, president and CEO, SolarBridge Technologies. "The frame-attached Pantheon features our signature reliable design and an attachment scheme that enables our partners to easily integrate microinverters onto their modules."

The frame-attached SolarBridge Pantheon microinverter has achieved UL1741 certification and is produced by Celestica in Dongguan, China.

SolarBridge will display this solution at its Intersolar booth (#7452) with development partners AU Optronics Corporation (AUO) [TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO], Kyocera and Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ: HSOL).

In addition, SolarBridge CEO Ron Van Dell will present "AC Modules: Game Changer for DG PV" in the Growth Stage Companies Forum on July 14 at 2:30 p.m., moderated by Greentech Media's Michael Kanellos. SolarBridge CTO and co-founder Patrick Chapman, PhD., will present "The Technology Behind AC Modules" at the Innovation Exchange July 12 at 11 a.m.
