In the first half of 2007, Shunra added a significant number of new and repeat customers, announced two product upgrades, secured five top industry awards, welcomed several new executives to its management team, and opened a new office in Philadelphia, PA. The company's outstanding success has been driven by increasingly strong demand for both its hardware and software Shunra Virtual Enterprise (VE) product lines, and is also due to strong interest in its turnkey Professional Services offerings. Shunra's client portfolio increased significantly in the first half of 2007, with new customers representing major vertical markets including financial, pharmaceutical, communications, and consumer goods. Customers for Shunra's Professional Services also grew this year. Typical engagements conducted by the Professional Services group included evaluating end-users'experiences before rolling out an application into production; assessing the feasibility of a data center move or server consolidation; determining network capacity needs; implementing a VoIP platform; evaluating and implementing a WAN optimization solution; testing disaster recovery/business continuity procedures; and troubleshooting networked applications.
