Sherex Fastening Solutions, LLC Names Cullen Engle as the New Director of Business Development
Tonawanda, NY - August 30, 2010: Sherex Fastening Solutions, an industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of blind rivet nuts, announced today that Cullen Engle is the new Director of Business Development.
Cullen R. Engle joins Sherex Fastening Solutions from a strategic partner, MDS Fastening Systems. Cullen was in charge of Business Development at MDS Fastening Systems. Prior to MDS Fastening Systems, Cullen was with Fortis Plastics where he consolidated and built a professional Sales & Marketing team from two newly acquired companies. He spent 4 ½ years at The Reserve Group (Romeo RIM and Spartanburg Steel Products) in Strategic Planning, Customer/Business Development and Operations positions.
Cullen's experience also includes 2 years at Textron Fastening Systems where he headed-up Global Product Management for the Automation Systems Group, which included a private branding agreement with MDS Fastening Systems. He also spent 18 years at TRW in various positions including Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Program/Launch Management, Product/Program Cost, Aftermarket Operations and Six Sigma.
Cullen received a BS in Marketing from Indiana University and a MBA from Butler University. Cullen will be assuming the position of Director of Business Development and will be relocating to the Buffalo area from Detroit in the near future.
