Setpoint Chooses Four Day Work Weeks
Ogden, Utah, November 2008 - Setpoint Systems, an industrial automation integration firm, announced today that they will be permanently implementing a four day work week. After completing a trial experiment for 90 days working a 4 day, 10 hour day schedule, Monday through Thursday, the experiment has been regarded as a success.
Setpoint spent time upfront to work out benefits for the employees as well as alerting customers to this change so that there were no disruptions to the delivery of projects. Employee satisfaction has increased at work as well as a realized cost savings on gas and time in the commute.
