Septimatech Announces Partnership to Equip Arrowhead Systems Conveyors with Easy Adjust Rails®

Septimatech, a global leader in packaging line changeover and productivity solutions, announced today a partnership to equip Arrowhead Systems conveyors with its Easy Adjust Rails® repeatable guide rail adjustment and changeover solution. Easy Adjust Rails® deliver fast, precise adjustment and one-time calibration, without pneumatics or other high maintenance components.
The new partnership grew out of an Arrowhead project with a global food products company, which required a guiderail system that offered fast, tool-less, repeatable changeovers for a new packaging line running different products with various container shapes and sizes. Arrowhead looked at multiple competitive solutions, including systems installed on other lines in the same plant. With Arrowhead’s capabilities as a specialty conveyor company and Septimatech’s intelligence in changeover solutions, a product was delivered to the customer which allowed 200 feet of guide rail to seamlessly convey their bottles without locking up in corners or crossovers. The customer can adjust the guide rail in under 10 minutes without tools to any of five different, repeatable settings, including corners and crossovers.

Septimatech designed Easy Adjust Rails® to be easily installed by OEMs or end users. Its small footprint makes Easy Adjust Rails® simple to implement on small or large size conveyor configurations and for tight radius curves and corners. Modular, interchangeable components allow added flexibility if line configurations change or expand.
Guide rail changes which typically take hours are reduced to minutes with Easy Adjust Rails®. All adjustments are accurate and repeatable for consistent performance and container control in every change. Precise dial settings and responsive controls eliminate possible errors or variances from changes in operators.
Durable Easy Adjust Rails® provide low friction, smooth transfer, non-marking container handling. They securely handle boxes or any size container and maintain position during conveyor back pressure. Easy Adjust Rails® contain 304 stainless steel hardware and engineered plastic components suitable for use in washdown environments and with caustic solutions. An optional upgrade to 316 stainless steel is available. Curved and angled surfaces prevent pooling of washdown liquids. An optional hygienic upgrade is also available for pharmaceutical and cleanroom applications.
