Sentillion vBusiness Launches vThere Partner Program; Appoints Former McAfee Executive to Lead Efforts

ANDOVER, Mass., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Sentillion vBusiness, a division of Sentillion, Inc., today launched its new channel partner program for its flagship product vThere(TM), the industry's first virtualized and server-less remote access solution. The program is designed for value-added resellers (VARs), solution providers and systems integrators. To lead this effort, Sentillion vBusiness has appointed Chris Carter as vice president of business partnerships. Mr. Carter previously served as McAfee's senior director of North America channels, where under his leadership McAfee restructured its distribution and VAR channels resulting in significant growth in the breadth and depth of McAfee's VAR network.

"Alliances play a critical role in Sentillion vBusiness' strategy for delivering and implementing vThere to the market," said Paul Roscoe, president of Sentillion vBusiness. "Our channel program is designed to empower and motivate our partners and with Chris leading this effort, I am confident that we will be able to achieve a win-win for all involved."

Sentillion vBusiness' partner program is designed to meet the needs of diverse global partners and enable them to grow their businesses profitably. The program enables partner organizations to provide their customers with an innovative and cost-effective remote access solution that extends the enterprise network to deliver the same user experience, application access and security to remote workers. The vBusiness partner program also provides valuable resources and materials for business development, marketing, sales, technical support and training. Additional benefits include a scalable margin structure, quarterly growth incentives and new customer growth incentives.

"Throughout my career, I have always sought opportunities to build channel strategies and programs in which VARs play a vital role," said Chris Carter, vice president of channels for Sentillion vBusiness. "I am thrilled to join the Sentillion vBusiness team and look forward to working with our partners, vendors and solution providers to deliver vThere as an extremely viable and cost effective remote access solution for their customers."

vThere leverages virtualization technology to enable users to run fully isolated, managed PCs on computers in remote venues such as a home or branch office. vThere provides a virtual computer that replicates the same experience workers have when physically within the enterprise, including desktop look and feel, access to applications, printers, file sharing and network security.

vThere users are connected into the enterprise network without the need for any additional centralized servers and their virtualized PCs are recognized as managed devices by the enterprise's IT department. This approach simplifies the administration, support and management of remote users by enabling the organization to leverage their existing support infrastructure investments.
