Sensis Delivers First Integrated Mobile Pallet Assembly

EAST SYRACUSE, NY - Sensis Corporation recently delivered the first Integrated Mobile Pallet (IMP) assembly for the U.S. Marine Corps' Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR) program to Northrop Grumman for formal testing and integration. The IMP is mounted on a trailer that supports G/ATOR's rotating radar array which will be towed by a Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement (MTVR). Sensis developed the IMP's motion control (including array rotation, elevation and stowing capabilities), automatic leveling system and computer processing.

"The delivery of the IMP is a major milestone in the G/ATOR program, bringing the program one step closer to providing the war fighters with the advanced technologies they need for their missions," said Marc Viggiano, senior vice president and general manager of Sensis Defense & Security Systems. "The next step is testing and integration of the IMP with other subsystems and components being developed for G/ATOR."
