Seegrid Announces Founding Distributor Program for Sales, Service and Support of Its Industrial Mobile Robots

Eight distributors already signed up to sell and support step-change automation solutions for material handling applications

PITTSBURGH - April 17, 2008 - Seegrid Corporation (www.seegrid.com), the premier provider of vision-guided mobile robots for the material handling industry, today announced the launch of its Founding Distributor Program, a distribution network of dealers and resellers who are leaders in technology, in their depth and breadth of product offerings, and in providing outstanding service and support. To date, Seegrid's eight Founding Distributors include: Amerden AGVS, Atlas Lift Truck and Rental, Engineered Solutions - A Division of Carolina Tractor, Hy-tek Material Handling, Inc., J.H. Ryder Machinery Limited, Morrison Industrial Equipment Company, PennWest Industrial Trucks, LLC, and Wisconsin Lift Truck Corporation.

"It is our strategy to manage sales through preferred regional and national distribution partners and to establish regional service centers at our distributor locations for local support. We are proud to have partnered with some of the finest and most innovative distributors in the country. They are leaders in technology, product, sales and service," said Greg Cronin, Executive Vice President, Seegrid. "For distributors Seegrid represents the opportunity to offer solutions that change the way material handling is done-to provide step-change automation (introducing automation one robot at a time) with an unparalleled ROI--and to increase revenues and enhance their service business."

The Founding Distributors currently sell and support Seegrid's GT3 tugger / tow tractor (3000 lb. capacity) and the soon-to-be-released GP8 pallet truck (8000 lb. capacity). The GT3 is Seegrid's first vision-guided robot designed to free up skilled employees by taking care of non value added work such as pulling flatbed carts and positioning supplies in tight areas.

As a distributor, partners receive:
o Opportunity to differentiate their dealership in competitive regions with reliable and highly innovative products
o New revenue opportunities, especially through establishing new accounts
o Access to cutting-edge technology in material handling
o Ability to enhance their service business
o Onsite sales training and service support
o Marketing and promotional support

Seegrid will be adding qualified distributors to its Distributor Program at the upcoming NA2008 in Cleveland, OH, and throughout 2008. If your organization is interested in becoming a member, or if you would like a demo from a distributor in your area, please contact partners@seegrid.com or call 877-SEEGRID.

About Seegrid Corporation

Seegrid (www.seegrid.com) brings a new class of affordable industrial mobile robots to the material handling industry that operate reliably and safely in dynamic warehouse, distribution and manufacturing environments. Seegrid's robots differ from today's AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) in that the company's IMR technology is the first to provide early-stage capabilities of autonomous robot behavior with Sense, Move, Analyze, Interact and Repeat capabilities. The result--AGV-like competence but with greater flexibility at a considerably lower cost. IMR-enabled robots provide WalkThroughThenWork(TM) capabilities, providing an operator with the ability to simply and easily instruct the robot along a desired path, adding behaviors such as horns and stop stations, usually in minutes. Seegrid robots literally come straight off the truck, an operator quickly inputs the path and the robot is immediately productive.
