Scott Specialty Gases Announces Price Increase for Fuel Gases, Helium and other Pure and Mixed Gases


Plumsteadville, PA-Scott Specialty Gases recently announced plans to increase prices by 10.5% for pure hydrogen, helium and balance mixtures. Prices for all other pure and mixed gases will be increased by 5.2% to 8.3%, and will become effective March 20, 2006 for customers in North America as contracts permit. The pricing initiative is necessary to offset rising costs of raw materials and to support stringent manufacturing and quality control systems that reflect Scott's commitment to continue providing the highest quality specialty gas products in the marketplace.
