Schaffner Strengthens Its Position in the US

With the new function of Group Vice President Sales Marketing North America the Schaffner Group strengthens the sales organization in the US, with the goal of significantly increasing sales over the next few years. The head of the US market, Ralph Rosa, started his new position on 1 September 2015. He manages the US sales organization and coordinates market activities of Schaffner.

The two production sites Schaffner Trenco and Schaffner MTC will be merged into a single plant in Wytheville, Virginia. This move will considerably increase Schaffner's competitiveness in North America as well as improve the technical and logistical support for clients.

Already in early 2015 an EMC prototype center was opened in Edison, New Jersey. This enables a closer collaboration with customers in North America and accelerates the realization of customer specific products.

The reorganization is an expression of the importance that the Schaffner Group ascribes to the North American market in the Strategy 2020.
