Rubbermaid Commercial Products Announces Settlement with ABCO
WINCHESTER, VA, April 13, 2006 -- Rubbermaid Commercial Products, an international leader of design and innovation in commercial products for facilities maintenance, material transport and foodservice industries, today announced that ABCO Broom & Mop Manufacturing of Miami has requested a settlement of Rubbermaid's patent infringement lawsuit against ABCO.
Under the terms of the settlement, ABCO will cease selling the products which were at issue in the lawsuit, including commercial cleaning equipment, and has agreed to pay Rubbermaid an undisclosed royalty for previous sales of certain ABCO commercial cleaning products.
