Renishaw Launches Guide to Additive Manufacturing
West Dundee, IL – May 8, 2018 – Renishaw, an additive manufacturing (AM) systems and software manufacturer and user, has launched a dedicated AM page on its website. The company will use this new information hub to educate and inform customers, and the wider engineering community, on the possibilities of additive manufacturing and its business impact. The objective is to increase the use of AM technology in mainstream manufacturing.

Featured on the new page is the beginner’s guide to AM, which explains how users can optimize their use of metal AM to take advantage of the design freedom, performance and efficiency of this manufacturing technique. It also explains how understanding the particular AM process characteristics are essential to waste and cost reduction.
