R.C. Electronics Signs Agreement to Represent TEAC Data Recorders in North America


New product line creates a broad product portfolio for R.C. Electronics

Santa Barbara, CA - January 24, 2006 - R.C. Electronics Inc., a key supplier of signal conditioners and data acquisition systems, announced that the company has reached agreement to represent TEAC Instruments Corporation of Japan as the principal agent for the distribution of TEAC Data Recorder products in North America. R.C. Electronics is a world leader in the design and manufacture of signal conditioning amplifiers and the DataMAX II Instrumentation Data Recorders. The company will manage sales, service and warranty for the TEAC product line through its existing sales network in North America.

The TEAC line has excellent performance characteristics and is a market leader," notes Mr. Richard Renck, President of R.C. Electronics. "Our customers will be pleased to have these complementary systems available through our knowledgeable sales representatives.

The high performance line of TEAC products includes the Model GX-1 Integrated Data Recorder, which can be configured with various plug-in signal-conditioning modules to meet a wide variety of test requirements. The TEAC line also includes the popular portable and powerful LX-Series Flash Memory Card Data Recorders and the new high-bandwidth DS-Series RAID Hard-Disk Data Recorders. The recording systems come standard with software that provides the user with easily understood, user-friendly interfaces for system configuration, data display, and data file transfer.

Giles also announced a staff expansion, appointing Steve Astulfi Director of Sales for R.C. Electronics, Dennis Foti as Inside Sales Manager and Greg Wanchick as Midwest Regional Sales Manager. All are former TEAC America staff having extensive sales and technical experience. Mr. Astulfi was the National Sales Manager at TEAC America.
Giles announced that Larry Roberson of R.C. Electronics will manage the TEAC product line in the southeast region in addition to his R.C. Electronics product portfolio.
