Qualiform Rubber Molding is Purchased by Finite Fiber, A DOWCO LLC Company

September 1, 2018, Wadsworth, Ohio – Qualiform, Inc. Announced Finite Fiber, A DOWCO LLC Company, purchased controlling interest.

Serving OEMs since 1976, Qualiform has earned the reputation as the market leader in rubber molding and rubber to metal bonding.  This Wadsworth, Ohio company manufactures custom rubber molded products used in a wide arrange of industries, including the transportation, medical, electrical, plumbing, industrial, healthcare, appliance, and aerospace industries. Qualiform’s products are typically used for impact absorption, resistance, protection, and vibration/noise control.  Examples include bumpers, tires, guards, stops, covers, housings, grommets, and gaskets.

The purchase of Qualiform will allow Finite Fiber to work with Qualiform's OEM customers to develop new compounds with superior properties, including abrasion resistance and vibration absorption. Their sophisticated chemistry capabilities transform ordinary rubber into unique compounds for specialized applications. Finite Fiber, founded in Akron in 1921, began by supplying cut fibers for a variety of rubber and plastic industries. Today, the industry leader offers a growing list of engineered fiber products.
