Q-PLUS Labs has been closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as it evolves, paying close attention to the guidance provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We understand many of you have questions regarding recent Governmental Orders that have restricted many activities within the state of California, other locations within the US, and globally.
As we navigate the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, Q-PLUS Labs remains diligent in our efforts to remain informed and maintain steady business operations. First and foremost, the health, security, and welfare of our customers, suppliers, employees, and peers will always be our number one priority. Q-PLUS Labs operations and support services will continue as normal through these uncertain conditions. As a service supplier to numerous industries including integral medical, aerospace, and defense companies, infrastructure, and government agencies, we will continue to maintain our operations to deliver the essential tests and equipment required to support these vital companies and services.
Q-PLUS Labs operates under Section 1(b)(i) (“All services needed to ensure the continuing operation of the government agencies and provide for the health, safety, and welfare for the public.”) and Section 1(b)(ii) Healthcare Operations as defined in the Order mandated by the County Health Officer of Orange County, CA as “Essential Activities” under Section 1(b)(ii) of the order. We understand that our critical suppliers are similarly defined as an “Essential Business” under Section 1(b)(xvii) (“Businesses that supply other essential businesses with the support or supplies necessary to operate”). Shipping will remain as scheduled, and delivery of any service orders or products can be expected as usual, as we have not seen any disruptions to our supply chain at this point.
To help limit and prevent the transmission of the virus and “flatten the curve”, we have set some safeguards in place for visitors and personnel.
Our employees have been fully briefed on essential preventive measures (including increased sanitizing frequency, limiting contact with others, and touching objects). We will be limiting visitors to our facilities starting (3/18/2020), and for any visitors that must enter our facility, they must adhere to all requested safety precautions to gain entry.
