Protective Packaging Specialist Storopack Acquires Intellipack, its Australian Sales Partner
Metzingen – Storopack, the specialist for protective packaging solutions, has taken 100 percent ownership of its Australian sales partner, Intellipack Asia Pacific Pty Ltd. (Intellipack). Intellipack, based in Seven Hills, near Sydney, has been successfully selling and supporting the Storopack AIRplus® air cushion system and the PAPERplus® paper padding system in Australia and New Zealand for ten years.
Intellipack can look back on many years of experience in the area of protective packaging solutions. The company provides consultancy for integrated packaging systems and handles their design and implementation. In 2015 Intellipack generated sales of AUD 4 M (the equivalent of about 2.7 M EUROS).
At the beginning of 2016, Intellipack will be renamed to Storopack Australia Pty Ltd. and its corporate design converted to the Storopack CD. Peter Blakeley, founder and managing partner of Intellipack, continues to be responsible for business operations in Australia and New Zealand and will ensure a smooth integration into the Storopack Group.
