ProChem at Industrial and Commercial Water Reuse Conference 2015

ProChem, Inc. recently attended and exhibited at the 2015 Industrial and Commercial Water Reuse Conference in Austin, Texas. This event is hosted by the WateReuse Organization.

Because water reuse/recycling is emerging as a key strategy in corporate social responsibility, the presentations at the conference explored questions like these:

  • Why aren’t all industries using water reuse as a best practice?

  • What will the future of industrial water reuse look like?

The messages at the conference were solution-oriented, informative, and positive. Presentations covered topics such as federal and state funding opportunities for water reuse and the role of emerging technology in creating cost effective reuse options. Other sessions were structured as open panel discussions, allowing attendees to hear from and pose questions to a panel of industrial leaders within a company (from upper management to on-site operators), who shared their perspective on the realities of water reuse.

The event was extremely well organized, allowing exhibitors and attendees to network with one another in a natural yet purposeful way. The WateReuse organization was successful in rounding up a synergistic mix of professionals who are all focused on the technology, chemistry, and processes that will help bring water reuse to all companies, both as “a bottom line and a “green” solution.”

We look forward to attending more events presented by the WateReuse organization in the near future.
