Precision CNC Machining Company, Protomatic, Wins Supplier of the Year Award
Dexter, MIÂ – Precision CNC machining company, Protomatic, was recognized by BD with the Global Procurement’s 2014 Supplier Recognition Award.
BD is a medical technology company based in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. It serves healthcare institutions, life science researchers, clinical laboratories, industry and the general public. BD manufactures and sells a broad range of medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment and diagnostic products.
Protomatic is based in Dexter, Michigan with areas of expertise including prototype machining and custom short-run precision CNC milling and turning. It was recognized as the winner of the Small Business Supplier of the Year in the “Local” category.
Protomatic received this prestigious award as one of the top 16 best suppliers for BD that were evaluated from a supplier base of over 28,000 suppliers.
Receiving the award from Protomatic was Program Manager, Brian Heldt, and Vice President, Doug Wetzel. Doug Wetzel stated “It is an extreme honor to have won this prestigious award and we look forward to future programs at BD”.
