Powers Fasteners Announces Two Appointments


Expands Sales & Training Capabilities:

Powers Fasteners Names Jack Zenor Director of Business Development and National Training Manager
Powers Fasteners, Inc., the leading domestic manufacturer of concrete anchoring systems, has appointed Jack Zenor to the newly created position of Director of Business Development and National Training Manager.

The announcement was made by Sales and Marketing Vice President Len Colasuonno, who said the appointment expands the company's sales and product training capabilities. He added that Mr. Zenor would be responsible for getting Powers products specified by engineers and for educating distributors and salespeople on the products' use and features.

Mr. Zenor has more than 27 years in the construction fastening industry and joins Powers after serving 13 years with ITW Ramset/Red Head, most recently as Manager of New Business Development. He previously held various sales positions with Hilti Corporation, Southern Fastener & Tool Co., Inc. and Industrial Mill Supplies and Fasteners. He is married, has a daughter and lives in Covington, Louisiana.

Jacob Olsen Joins Powers Fasteners as Director of New Product Development
Powers Fasteners, Inc., the leading domestic manufacturer of concrete anchoring systems, has announced the appointment of Jacob Olsen as Director of New Product Development, a new position with responsibility for product development and product testing.

The announcement was made by Vice President of Manufacturing Matt Chamberlain, to whom he will report.

Mr. Olsen is a Professional Engineer and joins Powers after nearly five years as Staff Engineer with CEL Consulting, a materials testing and consulting firm in Oakland, Calif. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from California State University at East Bay and a master's degree in structural engineering for earthquakes from San Francisco State University. A native of Chicago, Mr. Olsen recently moved from California to Danbury, Conn.
