Powerful 113E Series now manufactured in North America...

LEAD TIMES CUT FOR POPULAR BELT DRIVE

Wilmington, N.C. (December 12, 2005) - In a move that will reduce the lead times for customers in the U.S. and Canada, Interroll's powerful 4.5 (113 mm) diameter belt drive will now be manufactured in Wilmington, N.C. Designated the 113E Series, the heavy-duty belt drive includes steel helical gears with a re-engineered motor unit that is available in single or three phase for higher efficiency and performance. Delivering up to 0.75HP (0.55kW), the belt drive was developed for the industrial market, airport check-in counters and food grade applications. The popular 113E Series is now being specified in an increasingly number of other applications such as postal distribution and security X-Ray machines.
"To meet the growing demands of the 113E Series in North America, we will support customer requirements through local assembly and manufacture the belt drives here in the U.S.," said Andrew Haugh, Product Manager for Interroll Belt Drives. "The move to manufacture in Wilmington has created a greater availability of the product for North American customers through increased production, shorter lead times and reduced shipping costs."

The 113E Series is designed to meet market demand for enhanced power belt drives in a smaller diameter. It is also available in a stainless steel version, protected to IP66/67 standards for food processing and washdown applications.
The Interroll 113E Series Belt Drive is available in single phase 115V or 3 phase 230V, 460V and 575V / 60HZ with speeds from 12 ft/min. to 347 ft/min. Shell options include carbon steel or stainless steel with a crowned or parallel surface. The new dual voltage 9-core cable of the 113E is also available in a halogen-free specification for airport applications. Further options include power input capable of accepting all international voltages, a screened cable for frequency converters, smooth or profiled rubber lagging, backstops, electromagnetic brakes, vertical mounting, and encoder bearings for intelligent control.
