PMD Manufacturing Lab Expansion
Performance Motion Devices (PMD), a manufacturer of motion control chips, cards, digital drives, and motion control software, is pleased to announce the completion of a manufacturing lab expansion and upgrade.Â

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the new lab took place today at PMD's headquarters in Boxborough, MA; with employees from every division attending the event. “The new manufacturing lab adds a layer of agility to our already precise manufacturing process.” Said Kara Dobbins, Director of Operations. “Streamlining our process and bringing more of our systems in-house gives us an edge when it comes to serviceability and responsiveness.”Â
The expanded facility features more dedicated workstations for PMD’s product families, as well as a new oversight system for managing the manufacturing process. Customers can continue to expect a high level of support and service, and will enjoy additional benefits from reductions in development cost and faster production times.
