Platform Executives and Customers Also to Address Private and Public Cloud Issues on Two Separate Panels

TORONTO and SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 12 - Platform Computing, the leader in cluster, grid and cloud management software, announces that several top Platform executives and a Platform ISF private cloud customer will speak at Interop, the leading business technology conference, taking place October 18-22, 2010 in New York.

On Thursday, October 21, CEO Songnian Zhou will present a session entitled "Private Cloud: Last Chance to Regain Control of Your Infrastructure?" Later that day, David Warm, CTO, Financial Services, will moderate a panel of industry thought-leaders from various vendor organizations to openly discuss how private and public clouds can be connected for instant scalability, disaster recovery and cost efficiency.

Earlier in the week, on Monday, October 18, during the Enterprise Cloud Summit portion of the event, Platform Computing customer, Rick Parker, Director of IT, Fetch Technologies, will be joined by other end-user organizations to share their experiences in running their own private cloud infrastructures - what worked, what didn't, why they chose to build private clouds and how they plan to connect their private clouds to in future.
