PIKA Expands Executive Team with VP of Technology and Operations

OTTAWA, CANADA - November 13, 2007 - PIKA Technologies Inc., a developer of media-processing hardware and software, today announced the hiring of Tom Duxbury as vice president of technology and operations. The position is effective immediately.

Most recently, Duxbury was a co-founder of Gridpoint Systems, where he oversaw operations and the introduction of new products. He has also held senior technology and management positions at DragonWave, Newbridge Networks and Mitel Corporation.

Duxbury, who is a University of Waterloo graduate in electrical engineering and also holds an MBA from Queen's, will be responsible for strategic technology planning, product management and development, manufacturing and materials management, and quality assurance.
