Personnel Promotions at LINPAC Materials Handling Announced


GEORGETOWN, KY (August 2, 2005) - LINPAC Materials Handling is pleased to announce the promotion of Stuart Hayden to Plant Manager of the company's Georgetown, Ky. manufacturing facility, and the promotion of Brigitte Mader to Marketing Specialist with a focus on the Automotive Industry.

Previously, Hayden was the Plant Manager at LINPAC's manufacturing facility in Bardstown, Ky., his original position when he joined the company five years ago. His responsibilities include planning and managing staffing and production needs, as well as enforcing safety and quality standards throughout the Georgetown facility. As Plant Manager, Hayden will also spearhead the company's lean manufacturing initiatives, emphasizing continuous improvement metrics and benchmarking production and performance.

Prior to joining LINPAC, Hayden was a Production Manager for NIBCO Inc. in Charlestown, Ind., where he was responsible for the company's production objectives and continuous improvement projects in a cellular manufacturing environment. Hayden was promoted to this position after originally joining NIBCO Inc. as a Manufacturing/Product Engineer, where he was responsible for the design and manufacturing of plastic industrial valves and fittings. Hayden graduated from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Ky. with a BS in mechanical engineering.

Ms. Mader previously served as a LINPAC Account Representative with a focus on the beverage industry. Her new responsibilities include working with the company's automotive industry sales, solutions and development teams to create targeted marketing strategies and promotional materials including brochures, product releases and data bulletins. Within the Marketing Team, Ms. Mader will also manage corporate strategic positioning activities including competitive analysis, overall domestic and international market evaluation, and technical marketing information. She will continue to be based at LINPAC's Georgetown, Ky. location.

Before joining LINPAC in October 2004, Ms. Mader provided consulting services for the Small Business Institute (SBI), working for Commonwealth Industries in Louisville, where she created marketing plans and conducted independent market research studies for new business ventures. Prior to that, she was a Supply Chain Manager for Hawera Probst GmbH, a subsidiary of the Robert BOSCH Corporation's power tool division in Ravensburg, Germany. A native of Germany, Ms. Mader recently completed an MBA program at the University of Louisville. She holds a BA in marketing and finance from the University of Cooperative Education in Ravensburg, Germany.
