Peleman Finalist for Best Company, New Product & Executive

Peleman Industries was named finalist and will be competing to win in the Stevie Awards for Best Overall Company, Best New Product or Service, and Best Executive for its CEO, Brigitte Peleman-Vantieghem. Peleman was selected from among more than 2,600 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry. Companies were submitted for consideration for awards in over 40 categories, including Best Overall Company, Best Executive, Best New Product or Service, Best Corporate Social Responsibility Program, Best Management Team, and Best Corporate Environmental Responsibility Program.

"It is a great honor to be considered for these categories of the Stevie American Business Awards," said Peleman Industries' CEO Brigitte Peleman-Vantieghem. "Peleman Industries has always strived to be the very best, in both operations and its product line. To be recognized for this is very fulfilling."

Stevie Award winners will be announced during the annual gala on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. More than 600 executives from across the U.S. are expected to attend. The ceremonies will be broadcast on radio nationwide by the Business TalkRadio Network and hosted by Liz Claman of FOX Business Network.

Finalists were chosen by business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April through May, 2008. Members of the Stevie Awards' Board of Distinguished Judges & Advisors and their staffs will select Stevie Award winners from Finalists in final judging.

"Entries grew more than 30% this year, so being named a Finalist is more of an accomplishment than ever before," said Michael Gallagher, Founder and President of The Stevie Awards. "It means that independent business executives have agreed that the nominee is worthy of national recognition."
