PCMC Wins Regional Manufacturing Award of Distinction, Receives Nomination for Statewide Award


GREEN BAY, Wis.- Nov. 21, 2007 - Paper Converting Machine Company (PCMC) has been awarded the prestigious Manufacturing Award of Distinction, which honors excellence in manufacturing in Northeast Wisconsin. The award is sponsored by Advance, the economic
development arm of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce, and was presented on Nov. 14.

"This award is a result of the incredible work and commitment of all 800 PCMC associates in Green Bay and reaffirms our belief that through leadership, empowerment and continuous improvement, we will continue to realize our vision of a great American manufacturing company," said Craig Compton, Vice President of Operations.

Following its regional win, PCMC has been nominated by Advance for the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Award. The MOTY award program is an annual recognition of excellence in manufacturing, which celebrates the successes of manufacturers in the state-their innovations, philanthropy, technological advances, commitment to customer satisfaction, and quality jobs.

Since 1919, PCMC has designed and manufactured advanced converting machinery for the sanitary tissue, packaging and disposable nonwovens industries. In addition, the company has a major position in the manufacture of flexographic printing, coating and laminating machines.
