Paragon Technologies' Si Systems Brand Awarded A $2.9 Million Contract For An Automated Assembly Conveyor System

EASTON, PA - November 6, 2007 -- Paragon Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:PTG), a leading supplier of "smart" material handling systems and "software-driven" warehouse and distribution center solutions, announced today that its SI Systems brand received an order totaling $2.9 million to design, build, and install an automated conveyor system for a global manufacturer of diesel engines. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The assembly conveyor system will be installed at a plant in New York where an existing SI Systems assembly conveyor system is currently in use for the assembly of our customer's full lineup of diesel engines. Due to the increased demand for their diesel engines, the manufacturer is adding the new assembly line to segment the build process between two different high demand models.

Len Yurkovic, Acting CEO of Paragon Technologies, said, "We are pleased that this long-time satisfied customer has again selected our reliable, ergonomically designed assembly conveyor system to help them achieve their growing productivity goals."
