Panasonic Security Systems Names Luis C. Ruiz Eastern Zone Sales Manager.

Secaucus, NJ (October 17, 2005) - Panasonic Security Systems, a division of Panasonic System Solutions Company (PSSA), has named Luis C. Ruiz as Eastern Zone Sales Manager of its security products business unit. Mr. Ruiz has more than 17 years of business experience in managing sales and market development for Wachovia, AT&T and Exelon Corp.

"We believe Luis' diverse experience provides Panasonic Security Systems with additional depth to deliver the highest levels of sales support in our eastern region."
Joining Panasonic Security Systems from Wachovia, Mr. Ruiz's most recent position was as Director of Account Management. Prior to Wachovia, Ruiz held management responsibilities at AT&T and Exelon Corp. in the areas of sales and marketing.
In his new position, Mr. Ruiz will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of Panasonic Security Systems' sales partners in the eastern region, while cultivating new sales opportunities for the company. Additionally, he will be responsible for further developing strategic relationships with key end users as a best practice initiative and service.
Ruiz holds an MBA from Drexel University, a BA in Statistics from Rutgers University and acquired his Finance Certification from the New York Institute of Finance.
Mr. Ruiz replaces Keith Ridings who was recently promoted to the position of National Sales Manager for Panasonic Security Systems. Mr. Ruiz's appointment is effective immediately.
