Pace Beefs Up Account Management Team Adds Regional Account Directors in the East and West


BOCA RATON, Fla., - November 7, 2005: Pace Micro Technology, a leading digital set-top box provider specializing in the development of emerging technologies, today announced it has added two seasoned regional account executives to its rapidly expanding account management team. Jim Holzel and Mark Besocke join Brian Cotter, Pace America's director of national accounts, to serve operators in the eastern and western regions of the U.S.

Pace America's Vice President - Business Development Tim O'Loughlin commented, "Jim and Mark are strong additions to our team, particularly as we continue to deploy our latest Pace products, including the all-new Tahoe HD-DVR, Chicago all-digital box, and the newest addition, our two-line eMTA. We are pleased to continue strengthening our sales team by bringing on board such talented and experienced account directors."

Holzel, based in Philadelphia, has a strong background in broadcast video equipment, middleware and conditional access. He began his career at Panasonic in 1991, and was promoted to district sales manager in 1995. In 2000, he joined Canal+ Technologies as the northeast regional sales manager. In 2002, he rejoined Panasonic Broadcast as mid-atlantic area sales manager and was later promoted to business line manager. He has a bachelor's degree from St. Francis College.

Besocke's experience is in broadband cable and high-speed data service. He worked at TVGuide as senior sales solution manager and as director of national sales for billing system provider ETI. In 1998, Besocke worked at AT&T Broadband as senior account manager, and helped launch digital cable while working for Comcast HITS (headend in the sky). Earlier in his career, he worked in business development for Jeppesen Sanderson where he supported flight critical navigational data to the airline and corporate aviation industries. Besocke has a bachelor's degree from California State Polytechnic University, and an MBA from Regis University in Denver.
