Ohmite Acquires 2 Vishay Businesses
Rolling Meadows, Illinois - January, 2007 - Ohmite Manufacturing Company announced today that they have acquired both the Ultronix Precision Wirewound Resistor and Angstrohm Rheostat Businesses of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. Ultronix is a Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of precision wirewound resistors. Angstrohm, based in Hagerstown, MD, is a manufacturer of wirewound rheostats. It is anticipated that the acquisitions will be completed by the end of January 2007.
