Objectivity, Inc. Announces Renewal of Major Distribution Agreement
Leading data management solutions provider continues expansion in Japanese market.
Sunnyvale, CA August 15, 2007 -- Objectivity, Inc., the leading provider of object-oriented real-time data management platforms for software applications with complex data management challenges, announced today the renewal of its distribution agreement with Osaka Gas Information Systems Research Institute Co., Ltd. (OGIS-RI). The agreement extends a 16-year partnership that has resulted in widespread expansion into new target markets for both companies.

The renewal, which became effective March 31, 2007, will give Objectivity increased exposure to new and existing Japanese customers while allowing OGIS-RI to implement Objectivity/DB's embedded data management platform across a variety of systems used in key market segments. Current OGIS-RI customers using Objectivity/DB to manage complex and real-time data include semiconductor giant NEC Electronics, DRAM chip manufacturer Elpida Memory and a National Institute of Japan.
Objectivity originally partnered with OGIS-RI in 1991 to facilitate distribution and support services in the burgeoning Japanese market. The most recent renewal is effective through March 2010.
