News: Norwood hires Jim Striese to manage distributors and agents worldwide


February 16, 2006 - Norwood Marking Systems, recognized worldwide for its high-quality thermal transfer and hot stamp printing equipment, announces the appointment of Jim Striese as National / International Account Manager - Distributors and Agents. Striese is responsible for building and managing Norwood's network of distributors and agents in the U.S. and internationally.

"Developing our network of distributors and agents is critical to our growth strategy, so we hired Jim, who has a tremendous amount of experience building such sales organizations," noted Bill Delmolino, Director of Sales & Marketing at Norwood. "Our distributors and agents provide very important links in establishing relationships with a broad base of customers. Hiring Jim is a critical step in helping this team exceed customers' expectations."

Striese brings more than 20 years of packaging industry experience in domestic and international sales to his position at Norwood. Most recently, he was Regional Sales Manager and VP Sales and Marketing with National Instrument Company. Previously, he was VP Sales and Marketing with NJM/CLI and prior to that, was Director of International Sales with Pneumatic Scale/Barry Wehmiller Corp. He holds a B.S degree in Aerospace Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology and earned his MBA from Northeastern University.
