New Scale Technologies Adds Rep Firms in North America
Victor, NY - July 20, 2010 - New Scale Technologies, Inc. (www.newscaletech.com) has expanded its North American sales network, signing six manufacturers' representatives in the United States and Canada to sell New Scale's M3 micro-mechatronic systems, SQUIGGLE piezoelectric micro motors, TRACKER position sensors and related motion products.
The new rep firms are Harper & Two, Inc. in southern California; Victory Sales in the central and plains states; Sigma Component Design in eastern Canada; Trionic Associates in metro New York; Astrorep in the mid-Atlantic states; and Performance Technical Sales in the southeastern states.
The selected firms are all experienced representatives of austriamicrosystems (SWX:AMS), New Scale's strategic partner and a leading producer of high-performance analog ICs. New Scale collaborates with austriamicrosystems in the development and manufacturing of its piezo motor drive ASICs and miniature position sensors. Since 2008, New Scale has leveraged austriamicrosystems' global sales force of more than 100 direct sales engineers and field application engineers.
