New Sales Manager for the Americas Appointed by Superior Tube and Fine Tubes


US-based Superior Tube and UK-based Fine Tubes, leaders in the manufacture of precision tubing for critical applications across a range of global markets, are pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Latranyi as Sales Manager – Americas.



Based at Superior Tube’s Head Office in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, Erik will be focused on developing a stronger footprint in the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America and South America for both companies.  Reporting to Brian Mercer, Global Sales Marketing Director, Erik will also have responsibility across all major markets, including aerospace, oil gas, nuclear, power generation and medical.



Prior to joining the Superior Tube and Fine Tubes team, Erik held key positions within numerous related industries, including Senior Business Development Manager at Structural Group, tasked with expanding their technological services into new markets; Marcellus/Utica Manager at Kelford Energy, establishing a greater presence into the oil & gas production market and as National Sales Manager at Hendrick Manufacturing Company - a multi-million dollar international manufacturer of highly-engineered metal products.



Commenting on his new role, Erik said: “This is an excellent opportunity for me. Superior Tube and Fine Tubes have an outstanding reputation and I’m looking forward to applying my sales leadership and business development skills to the promotion of such high quality tubing products right across the Americas”.



Brian Mercer added: “This is a big role, covering all of the industries we serve across such major territories. Erik brings over 25 years experience of international sales and managerial roles within various sectors including metals, medical and oil and gas. He has the skills and experience we require for the position and we are delighted that he has joined us”.
