New Gear Manufacturing Equipment at Machinists Inc.
The capabilities of Machinists Inc. are expanding. The recent acquisition of the The Gear Works assets has added amazing new gear cutting abilities. The addition of this new equipment gives MI some of the best gear services in the world, improving quality, productivity and capacity. It's a tremendous commitment to the future. Here is a sampling of some of the new equipment.
The Mazik Integrex e-670 is a state-of-art multi-tasking machining center, giving MI the ability to efficiently manufacture large, accurate part for demanding applications. The Mazik Integrex e-670 features a maximum diameter of 42-inches and length of 160-inches with a maximum weight of 10,000 pounds. It also features an on-board work piece measuring system.
The Gleason Pfauter Model P1600G is a gear tooth grinding machine with impressive stroke capacity with a maximum 10,000 pound workpiece weight along with onboard gear inspection and evaluation.
The Hofler Gear Tooth Grinding Machine, model Helix 700 has a maximum gear diameter of 700mm and maximum gear face of 400mm.
The Hurth Module 6 Axis CNC Gear Hobbing Machine is specifically designed for heavy duty, high precision maximum productive gear manufacture. The Hurth-Module 6 Axis CNC Gear Hobbing Machine features a maximum work diameter of 1600mm, with a maximum table load of 18,000 pounds.
