ROSSLYN, Va., —The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) reaffirmed NEMA ICS 1-2000 Industrial Control and Systems: General Requirements. The purpose of this publication is to consolidate all standards of a general nature in order to obtain uniform application of requirements throughout the range of industrial control and systems equipment.



Developed by the 1IS SC1/SC2 Technical Subcommittee, this guide provides practical, general information concerning ratings, construction, testing, performance, and manufacture of industrial control, and systems equipment and terminal blocks.



NEMA ICS 1-2000 (R2005, R2008, R2015) may be downloaded for free or purchased in hard copy for $138 on the NEMA website.
