ROSSLYN, Va.—The National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) reaffirmed its ANSI C81 standards for lamp bases and holders. They are published by the NEMA Lighting System and include:



ANSI C81.61-2009 (R2014) American National Standard for Electrical Lamp Bases—Specifications for Bases (Caps) for Electric Lamps, which may be purchased for $468 on the NEMA website.



ANSI C81.62-2009 (R2014) American National Standard for Electric Lampholders, which may be purchased for $344 on the NEMA website.



ANSI C81.63-2007 (R2014) American National Standard for Gauges for Electric Lamp Bases and Lampholders, which may be purchased for $563 on the NEMA website.



ANSI C81.64-2005 (R2014) American National Standard for Guidelines and General Information for Electric Lamp Bases, Lampholders, and Gauges, which available for download at no charge or purchased in hard copy for $110 on the NEMA website.
