Nanostream Announces Webinar on Compound Solubility

Pasadena, CA June 26, 2006 -- Nanostream, provider of high-throughput microfluidic analytical systems to companies involved in drug discovery and development, will host a webinar on "Evaluating Compound Solubility: A Novel High-Throughput Approach Employing Low Volume Micro Parallel Liquid Chromatography" on Wednesday, June 28 at 11:00 am EST. Attendees will hear from Dr. Sergio Guazzotti, product manager for chemical analysis at Nanostream. Dr. Guazzotti will address how micro parallel liquid chromatography enables high-throughput chemical analysis with increased sample capacity and data analysis capabilities while reducing sample consumption, solvent usage, and waste generation. Dr. Guazzotti will share application data and conduct a real-time analysis of solubility data using Nanostream's analysis software. The 30-minute presentation will be immediately followed by a live Q&A session.

With over 15 years of experience in analytical chemistry, Dr. Guazzotti manages Nanostream's product marketing for the Nanostream CL System(TM), Nanostream's micro parallel liquid chromatography system for chemical analysis. Prior to joining Nanostream, Dr. Guazzotti was a professor of analytical chemistry at the University of California, San Diego, where he also oversaw the analytical instrumentation laboratory. Earlier in his career, Sergio worked with Nestle and with the National Institute of Industrial Technology, both in Argentina, and also as a developer of analytical instrumentation in the Aerosol Time of Flight Mass Spectometry group at the University of California, Riverside.
