MTS Joins Rockwell Automation's Encompass Program

CARY, N.C. (August 20, 2007) - MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division announced that it is now a member of the Rockwell Automation Encompass Program for the Americas regions. The Encompass Program is a product referencing program designed to identify, qualify and jointly market third-party manufactured products that complement the breadth of world-class products developed by Rockwell Automation. Rockwell Automation will be referencing MTS' Temposonics® linear-position sensors and Level Plus® liquid-level sensors.

The Encompass program, according to the Rockwell Automation Web site, "creates a path for critical information exchange and improved solutions in the marketplace by linking technical and commercial resources of Rockwell Automaton and the Encompass partner."

Products referenced in the program must be provided by reputable, sound companies committed to product and service quality and must enhance and extend the Rockwell Automation solution through built-in connectivity to a Rockwell Automation architecture or as a critical component to the solution.
