MRPC Announces Additional Staff Updates as Business Continues to Grow

BUTLER, Wis. (September 28, 2017) — MRPC, a single-source provider of medical device components and assemblies, announced several staffing updates.

Eric Powers was promoted to V.P. of Quality at the Butler location. Eric joined MRPC in July 2014 and previously held the role of Director of Quality Assurance. Powers oversees all facets of the Quality Department for all three facilities. Validations, PPAP’s, our ISO 13485 certification and surveillance process, etc.

Frank Pochopin joined MRPC as the new Quality Manager for the New Hampshire location. He comes to MRPC with quality background in aerospace with over twenty-five years of hands-on technical experience in quality and supplier quality. His primary responsibility is to oversee all facets of quality at the MRPC NE plant. "Frank will bring a level of quality to the plant that is needed. He will take MRPC NE to the next level and improve our product quality and our quality system," said Eric Powers.

Cory Tupeck is a new Quality Engineer for MRPC at the New Hampshire location. His responsibility will be to help improve the quality processes and procedures. Cory will work with Program Managers on the quality aspect of a new program. He will work on getting programs either Validated and/or PPAP’ed. "Cory brings solid aerospace experience that can help improve our product quality and our quality system," said Eric Powers, V.P. of Quality. "Cory is a nice addition to the team at the MRPC facility and will help take the Hudson plant to the next level in quality," Powers added.

Ryan Doyle is a new Quality Engineer for MRPC Headquarters in Butler, WI. Most recently he was a Manufacturing Quality Engineer at a Milwaukee based plastic injection molded company that served clients in automotive, truck, aerospace and solar applications. His responsibility is to assist Program Managers on the quality aspect of a new program. He will work on getting programs either Validated and/or PPAP’ed. "Ryan is a good addition to the strong MRPC Butler Quality Team. His experience in corrective actions and statistics will help MRPC Butler. I look forward to Ryan learning and gaining experience to move up in the MRPC Quality Team," said Eric Powers.

Jeff Pelkofer was promoted to Director of Engineering in Butler. Pelkofer was hired in August of 2015 and previously held the role of Senior Project Engineer. He oversees the Project Engineering department and is responsible for engineering related issues in all three of our facilities. Working with MRPC’s customers to develop products, tooling (molds and secondary equipment) build, development and release into production.

Matt Fried was hired as a Project Engineer in Butler. Fried brings more than 20 years of experience to MRPC as a Project Engineer. Previously he worked with a Wisconsin based plastics company in product development and new product quoting.

Jeff Randall was named V.P. – Chief Technology Officer in Butler. Randall joined MRPC in 2008. He has been working in various engineering roles in the contract manufacturing/molding industry for over 30 years. The key areas of his experience include: Product Design; Tooling Design; Automation; Project Management; Scientific Molding; Injection Molding Process Simulation; Multishot Molding; Intellectual Property Management. He holds a Master certificate from UW Madison and has written many articles in the plastics and medical device trade magazines.
