Hückelhoven-Baal, Germany/Grand Rapids, USA, 08 September 2020 - As of today, conveyor specialist Sparks Belting will sell synchronous drum motors from Momentum Technologies in the US. Sparks Belting will assemble drum motors to specific customer requirements, keep and supply spare parts, and carry out repair orders from its 10 locations in the United States and 2 in Mexico. The company will distribute Momentum’s synchronous drum motors under the SPM brand for dura-drive motorized pulleys.
The agreement with Sparks Belting is part of the global growth strategy with which Momentum Technologies aims to strengthen its most important sales markets by building collaborations where the partners also provide customer value-add through own assembly. The goal of such close cooperation is to expand rapidly, establishing sustainable, stable and resilient relationships at the same time. OEM customers and system integrators benefit from a worldwide network of service points, which they need for their globally distributed customers.
