Company Wide Initiative Provides New Web Capability
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 6 -- Mitek Systems, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MITK; www.miteksystems.com), a leading provider of Image Analytics and Pattern Recognition software, today announced MITEK NET[X], a company-wide initiative aimed at providing its partners and customers with an Internet offering that redefines the ease of use and accessibility of its Image Analytics tools.

The MITEK NET[X] initiative comprises multiple phases that will be delivered over several quarters. Ultimately, a single framework will be the universal interface to all the recognition engines available from the company. These recognition engines are used broadly in multiple industries and encompass all the capabilities necessary to quickly and accurately process data from any digital image including signatures, documents, forms, checks, and abstract objects.
MITEK NET[X] extends beyond technology to a simplified mechanism of licensing and delivering products. By using a web-based framework and offering a combination of embedded and Software as a Service (SaaS) licensing models, Mitek will open the doors for its partners to capitalize on market opportunities that were previously unreachable -- including, hosted solutions and browser based applications that deliver full recognition capabilities.
