MISUMI Extends Same Day Ship Time to 6PM EST for All Ordering Methods

MISUMI USA, Inc., a subsidiary of MISUMI Corporation, part of MISUMI Group, Inc. (Tokyo: 9962), has announced its improved same day shipping service for all in-stock product lines. Effective July 11, 2016, orders of MISUMI's Factory Automation, Press Die, and Mold products ordered by 6:00 p.m. ET will automatically, and at no additional charge, be shipped on the same day from either the Chicago or Los Angeles distribution centers.
MISUMI is continuously striving to bring our high quality configurable and standard components to our customers faster so they can take their machines and equipment to market even faster. This quicker service also addresses the maintenance and spare parts needs of our customers. Over the last 2 years, MISUMI has made good on this commitment with these major initiatives:

Locally stocked and cut aluminum extrusion Reduced manufacturing time for many make to order products from 6 to 4 days
Expanded stock products to over 40,000 products
Extend Same Day shipping to 6:00pm ET.

There are only a few exceptions to this Same Day Shipping Program: Orders where customers specify a particular Ship Date, orders marked "Ship Complete", will not be automatically upgraded to same day shipping. Since most orders contain many configurable products, please remember to mark orders "Ship Partial" or place all stock parts on a separate PO in order to benefit from same day shipping.
In addition, MISUMI 's in-stock Aluminum Extrusions do not qualify for the same day shipping upgrade, despite being a 1 day ship item, they need to be cut to specified lengths. These traditionally qualify for MISUMI's 1-Day Shipping Program.
