Microvision Partners with DynoPlex to Offer Bar Code Solution for BlackBerry
Microvision eCell(TM) for BlackBerry to be available through Mobile Wireless Operators and Wireless Master Dealers
Redmond, Washington, May 16- Microvision, Inc., (Nasdaq: MVIS) and DynoPlex, Inc. announced today a strategic partnership to offer DynoPlex's eCell(TM), along with Microvision's Flic Cordless Laser Bar Code Scanner, for BlackBerry®. BlackBerry is developed and manufactured by Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM). The offering will be called Microvision eCell For BlackBerry and will be sold through mobile operators and wireless master dealers.
Microvision eCell for BlackBerry enables BlackBerry users to easily scan, capture and transfer bar coding data into Microsoft Excel(TM) compatible files that can be exchanged between mobile devices and desktop computers. Applications for the product include: inventory, asset tracking, inspections, surveys, logs, and job tracking.
